The MVC jack assemblies, with our exclusive tailpiece mounting, are much more secure and a lot less likely to damage an instrument than the older 'clamp on' type of jack assemblies . . . .and they stay out of the way of your hand. The underside of and MVCjack assembly has a protective felt backing to protect the instrument from scratches. MVC jacks will mount quickly and simply to virtually all normal tailpieces. The assembly body is made of darkened mahogany and is heavily cork padded where it comes into contact with the instrument. It is specially cut away on the underside to provide extra clearance. The jack assembly takes a standard 1/4" plug so that you can use a quality guitar cord....and there is enough clearance to plug in most wireless units.
