The M-02 Series will give you a clean, strong and wonderfully accurate sound. All of the M-02 pickups utilize the same high performance full length oversize piezo element built into a high quality adjustable ebony bridge and deliver great response and good tonal balance. * Clarity * Superior volume and balance from string to string. * Cleaner, crisper sound reproduction than ever before. This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.). If you require the added ability to be able to plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add one of our Preamp/DI units to your pickup system. We've created a new and more secure method of mounting a jack assembly to a mandolin. Previous jack assemblies that clamped to the side of a mandolin had the tendency to come loose fairly easily. The new MVC series of jack assemblies solves that by mounting from the tailpiece. The jack assembly does not mount to the top. This method of mounting is totally non-invasive and will not harm your mandolin. All M-02 mandolin pickups are available with our New MVC or MVCplus (with volume control) jack assemblies. The jack assembly, which nestles in right next to the tail piece, is only a half an inch high and mounts to the tailpiece on most mandolins. Schatten Mandolin-05 Stick-On Pickup Series Stick-On Pickup Attaches To The Existing Adjustable Mandolin Bridge The new M-05 Series of mandolin pickups for adjustable bridged instruments allows you add a pickup system to your mandolin without having to change your bridge or make any invasive changes to your instrument. Featuring our new MVC jack assemblies (which simply attach to the underside of the existing tailpiece), the M-05's offer a real alternative to pickups that require bridge replacement. The M-05 sensor is small and light in weight. Measuring only 1/4" high by 1 1/2" in length it does not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument and will work on all 'normal' mandolin bridges, adjustable or fixed. It will operate properly on Brekke's as well. Features: * Ease of installation, the pickup adheres to the bridge with VHB foam tape. * The jack assembly, available with or without a volume control simply adheres to the underside of the tailpiece. * Clean, clear sound reproduction. As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced and EQ'd with an outboard preamp.
