Schatten Design Preamps  Product Code  Description SDDIPA Schatten DI+ Preamp (Single Channel) Outboard Preamp-DI Plus is a very powerful tool for any musician. It is not only a DI but a full featured preamp designed after Ultrasound's famous AG-series amps. Whether at a local open mic night or at a major concert venue, you will be able to dial in a clear natural acoustic sound and route it to the stage PA through a balanced XLR output. Sound engineers will appreciate the versatile controls and the optional 48-volt phantom power operation. Therefore, no more wall warts or batteries if your mixer has phantom power. SDDIPAM Schatten Schatten PDI Preamp Max (Two Channel) Outboard New Preamp-DI MAX is the most versatile instrument pre-amp on the market. With 2 independent channels, the DI MAX can be used as a blender as well as a pre-amp. The Channel-1 input will accept mono as well as stereo (TRS) inputs which allows the DI MAX to process the tip signal through the Channel-1 controls and the ring signal through the Channel-2 controls giving you an enormous amount of flexibility for creative signal blending from your stereo pickups. Of course you can plug 2 different instruments into the DI MAX and blend the signals. Channel-1 also allows the use of an XLR input so you can use the DI MAX as a personal mic pre-amp. The DI MAX lets you dial in a clear, natural sound and route it to a stage PA from a balanced XLR output. A Line out sends the signal to your stage amp. Tone controls include : active bass and treble EQ, mid-dip shape control, and phase switch. Operates on : 48V phantom power, 9V adapter, or 9V battery. This is the same preamp that is now supplied with our HFN series of guitar pickups, RG03A resonator pickup, and TCA tricone pickup. The preamp is now capable of running from virtually any power source. It can be run from a 9 volt battery onboard the instrument or by any outboard power source between 11 and 48 volts such as Phantom Power as provided by a mixer, PA system, amp or outboard battery pack .....this multi power capability is not just an option, it comes as a standard feature. So, the choice is yours: "Do I stick a battery in there.....or don't I?" New 2 Channels New Trim pots allow setting of maximum gain levels for each channel New Gain variable from 0 db to 24 db Better Battery life extended to approx. 800 hours if using a 9 volt battery Fantastic Multi power capability - Preamp may be run from 9 volts onboard or from any Phantom Power source outside the instrument (up to 48 volts dc). Option Thumbwheel volume controls Option CAB-1 cable allows you to run from outboard power sources Option RP-1 remote power module (18volts) allows you to run from an outboard power source when mixer/PA/amp Phantom Power is not available. (requires CAB-1 cable) Having 2 separate channels on this preamp will allow you to mix and balance any of our piezo pickups with a mag pickup that you might already have. Output of the Artist II preamp is mono. This preamp also will match up well with virtually any other piezo crystal pickup from any manufacturer and as such is a good replacement preamp for other brands as well.
